About
How this started
I used to organize a local developer meetup in Chattanooga. At some point I looked around at the people in my church and my community and noticed something: there were a lot of Christians doing interesting things in tech. Good people, doing real work, and nobody was bringing them together.
There were plenty of general tech groups and events. None of them were specifically for Christians. That gap bothered me.
One of my passions is connecting people. It's something I've always done naturally. All of that converged into Faith in Tech.
I started the way most things start: I posted on LinkedIn and texted everyone I knew who I thought might be interested. That was it. People showed up.
